Hey, hey! I thought I recognized Travis Willingham as the huntsman! Better late to the show than never for good ol' Colonel Mustang! Now if only they could find a true doppelganger for the Flame Alchemist, and then I'll be content (they sadly missed their shot with Iroh II, but I digress). OK, I'm not going to talk much about Beginnings 1 and 2, and everyone knows how epic it is. So, what a great concept to have a world dominated by spirits back in the ancient days! It's not a new idea, since the supernatural plays a prominent role in every ancient cultural tradition, but seeing it realized in such a way as it was here was truly fascinating!

I actually didn't know the title of this episode until it aired (same with last week's). This was quite the riveting episode! There was great action—anyone who didn't think of The Last Crusade during the boat chase hasn't seen the movie; great emotion—we finally see the trailer closeup of Asami in tears and it's just as impactful now as it was then; some great twists—the very macguffin of the first RDJ Sherlock Holmes (thank you, RC Dispatch podcast) comes into play here to confirm any suspicions we had about Varrick, and *gasp* Korra lost her memory in what some might consider to be a tired TV trope but anyone with a degree of sense will tru
